How it all began....
My name is Denise Margart, and I currently live in the small northern California town of Mount Shasta.
While taking a break from my interior styling business in 2009, I took a basic jewelry making class at a local shop and started designing and making jewelry as a creative outlet, experimenting with various materials and methods on my own.
I instantly became interested in the process of creating unique, wearable pieces of art!
I focus on organic, hand cut, shaped and hammered metals and sculptural elements, using semi-precious stones, leather, crystals and beads... all hand selected, and then thoughtfully constructed into wearable art.
It’s exhilarating to be inspired by an idea, to create that vision, and then see someone wearing and enjoying a piece of jewelry that I created by hand!
